Do you know a family who would benefit from comfort kits or flowers for a loss or memorial event?
Please be aware that the Medical Center Bowling Green and Fairview Health have these kits on hand and families likely received comfort kits there.

Why should I support this project?
Because one in four pregnancies end in miscarriage (marchofdimes.com, 2013). The March of Dimes (2013) also states that one in 160 pregnancies end in stillbirth. Women are taught not to announce a pregnancy until your second trimester....in case something happens. If the forbidden happens, the family is left to grieve alone because no one knew to begin with. When a baby dies due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), low birth weight, accidents and other causes people tend to avoid the family, not knowing what to say. The death of a baby is not something we are every prepared for. Won't you help us create a community of fellowship where we can speak our children's name without shame?

2021 PAIL
Awareness Event

After a virtual event last year, we were determined to have the Steps for Samuel event in person in some form. On October 14, 2021, we gathered at Buchanon Park in Bowling Green, KY to honor our babies. We began our evening with the reading of the proclamation as Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness month in Bowling Green and Warren County by Representative Patti Minter and Commissioner Carlos Bailey. Both discussed how their lives where affected by Pregnancy and Infant Loss. We honored 16 babies by name.
